7th grade opportunities:

  • JumpStart: JS is an interdisciplinary and intersectional anti-racist project that occurs the first month of school and within every classroom at CPA. We know that all knowledge, experiences, social problems and solutions are interdisciplinary and are not siloed in the real world. 
  • Advisory: The goal of the Advisory Program at CPA is to ensure that we are addressing the needs of our scholars through SEL support, and the establishment of meaningful relationships amongst students and staff. 

  • Prep KC: career jumping. Fair for students that offers exposure to exciting career opportunities

  • Junior Achievement: Career and College Readiness opportunities 

  • Project based RWL experiences: all CPA students will participate in projects that allow them to create solutions to real world problems.

  • College and Career fairs: Crossroads has an individualized college fair for CPA students and families only. They receive personal attention from college reps and advisors without having the distraction of crowds and other schools. 

  • College Admissions Representative Visits: Students will have a monthly one on one or group meeting with college admissions reps from all over the country.

  • Individualized Personal Plans of Study ( ICAP): Each student will have an individualized plan for study during their high school career, including a learning pathway that is tailored to their own  post high school plans and career goals.
